We invite you to the master class “How to  develop creativity and innovation in organizations?” by Dr. Cinzia Colapinto, Assistant Professor of Strategy and Innovation at NUGSB.

Abstract: Some skills are irreplaceable like creativity, empathy, human touch, and human wisdom.  Indeed, creativity has never been more essential to competitiveness in the business world, but how we can critically approach and empower originality in organizations. This talk explores the main factors that contribute to creativity and innovation in individuals and groups within organizations.

colapinto_cinziaDr. Cinzia Colapinto, Assistant Professor of Strategy and Innovation

Dr. Cinzia Colapinto joined the Graduate School of Business at Nazarbayev University as Assistant Professor of Strategy and Innovation.  She has previously taught at Ca’ Foscari University, Free University of Bozen and Universita’ della Svizzera Italiana. She received her PhD in Business and Corporate Finance from the University of Milan (2006) and she also holds a M.Sc. in International Economics (University of Milan, 2002). Cinzia’s research interests lie in the area of strategy-innovation interface, and decision making. She published in international refereed journals (including European Journal of Operational Research, Annals of Operations Research, Energy Policy, and Media Culture and Society). Cinzia has been a visiting scholar at London School of Economics and Political Science (United Kingdom), University of Canberra (Australia), Laurentian University (Canada), and Queensland University of Technology (Australia).
