Career Services at the Graduate School of Business held its second Career Week for Full -Time MBA class of 2016 which run from 11th to 13th of May. Various national and international companies joined the Career Week to expand Full-Time MBA students’ employment opportunities and foster professional growth.
Career Week 2 was presented as an exciting series of industry related panel discussions, workshops, company presentations, guest lectures and interviews designed to heighten students’ awareness of a variety of career opportunities, provide them with industry insight, thus, to come up with precise career goals and indicate the specific job to pursue.
These were the activities covered during 3 days:
- We engaged with industry experts through panel discussions, company presentations and workshops.
- Students had an opportunity to learn more about Oil and Gas, Consulting, Finance, etc. industry trends and insights.
- Through interactions with successful entrepreneurs based in Kazakhstan, students got insider tips on how to start their own business and maximize the chances for success while minimizing the risks of failure.
- We organized morning Coffee-Chats and afternoon Mock Interview with Consulting, Oil& Gas, Biotech companies, as well as sessions with senior staff from Nazarbayev University. The representatives gave individual feedback, interview advice and tips to the students.
