Madina is an Instructor of Entrepreneurship and Management at the Graduate School of Business at Nazarbayev University (NUGSB). She joined Nazarbayev University in 2018 as a Teaching assistant at NUGSB. She has 4 years of experience in teaching business disciplines.
Before starting her academic career, she worked for 11 years as a business development manager and a project manager in the space sector. In addition, she has more than 4 years of entrepreneurial experience, being the founder of two of her own startups.
Madina holds a double degree of Master of Science in Business Administration and Master of Science in Technology Management from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, funded by Bolashak State Program, and a Specialist’s degree in Economics and Management in Engineering from Karaganda State Technical University.
She is currently working on research in the field of digital entrepreneurship. Furthermore, she is conducting research within the Global Entrepreneurship Monitoring (GEM) project as a member of the National Team on behalf of NUGSB.
