Nizamiddin Amangeldiyev

Nizamiddin Amangeldiyev is currently a Teaching Assistant in Nazarbayev University’s Graduate School of Business. He holds a Master’s degree in Finance and Credit (Financial markets and institutions), Lomonosov Moscow State University (diploma with Honours) and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics (diploma with Honours), Lomonosov Moscow State University. During his master studies, Nizamiddin was an intern in EY, Risk Transformation Group. In addition, he completed additional courses in Risk Management in Academia of Sberbank in Moscow. His interests and hobbies are sport, namely martial arts, writing analytics and public speaking (conference)

Rustem Sadykov

Rustem Sadykov is an Academic Associate with Nazarbayev University’s Graduate School of Business.  Rustem studied at Eurasian National University, New York University and Stockholm School of Economics. Prior to joining GSB, he worked at Economic Research Institute (under the Ministry of Economy) and Development Bank of Kazakhstan.  His interests include statistics, econometrics, machine learning and IT startups. Zharaskhan Temirkhanov Teaching Assistant Zharaskhan Temirkhanov is currently an Academic Associate with Nazarbayev University’s Graduate School of Business. Prior to joining the NUGSB team, he was a Senior Lecturer at L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University. He holds a BSc degree in Economics and Business from L.N. Dinara Berlibekkyzy is currently an Academic Associate with Nazarbayev University’s Graduate School of Business. Prior to joining the NUGSB team, she worked as a Business Analyst in IT industry and Senior Lecturer at International IT University. Dinara holds MSc in International Technology Management (with distinction) from University of Warwick, United Kingdom. Her BSc degree is in Information Systems from International IT University. Dinara’s hobbies and interests include reading, travelling, operations management and business intelligence systems.

Assem Kablan

Teaching Assistant

Assem Kablan is currently an Academic Associate with Nazarbayev University’s Graduate School of Business. Prior to joining the NUGSB team, she was a Project Manager of ‘Eco-Village Kazakhstan’ sponsored by Chevron Corp. in collaboration with NURIS. She holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration, Nazarbayev University and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Karaganda State University. During her bachelor studies, Assem was a coordinator of English Debate League and had an academic exchange program in Business Administration at Fontbonne University, St. Louis, Missouri. Assem’s interests include start-ups, marketing and investments. Her hobby is to lead an active lifestyle through sports, and traveling.

Yerken Arystan

Research Assistant

Yerken Arystan is currently an Academic Associate with Nazarbayev University’s Graduate School of Business. Prior to joining the NUGSB team, he was an Auditor at Ernst & Young LLP; Tax Consultant at Deloitte TCF LLP; passed internship at Department of Accounting, Bank CenterCredit; and worked as an Academic Associate at KIMEP University’s Bang College of Business concentrating on the fields of accounting, strategy and business policy, management and marketing, introduction to business. He holds an MBA in Accounting, KIMEP University; B.Sc. in Business Administration and Accounting, KIMEP University; and has received training in business communications, leadership and negotiation, entrepreneurship and corporate strategy from the university. Yerken’s hobbies and interests include sport, innovations, equipment and technologies.

Zhanat Jalilova

Teaching Assistant

Zhanat Jalilova is currently an Academic Associate with Nazarbayev University’s Graduate School of Business. Prior to joining the NUGSB team, she was a Project Manager in PI NLA, Nazarbayev University, Astana; Economist, Karagandalift LLP, Karaganda; Export manager, Interior Design Company “Storia Moderna”, Dubai, UAE; Research Assistant, Center for Strategic Studies, Eastern Meditterranean University, Northern Cyprus; JSC “NURSAT”, Finance division, Logistics department, Almaty. She holds an MSc in Economics,Eastern Meditterranean University, Famagusta, TRNC; BS in Management, Suleyman Demirel University, Almaty. Zhanat’s interests include in economics, econometric, statistics. Her hobbies and interests include charity activities, reading, intellectual and mathematical games, foreign languages, traveling.

Madina Nurguzhina

Teaching Assistant

Madina Nurguzhina is currently an Academic Associate with Nazarbayev University’s Graduate School of Business. Prior to joining the NUGSB team, she was a Project Manager of “Assembly, Integration and Testing Complex of Spacecrafts” project being implemented by National Company “Kazakhstan Gharysh Sapary”. She holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration (with concentration in Technology Management), University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, funded by Bolashak State Program and a Specialist’s degree in Economics and Management in Engineering, Karaganda State Technical University. Madina’s interests include woman entrepreneurship, business modelling and start-ups. Her hobbies are foreign languages, traveling, reading and yoga.
