On January 18, 2019 Nazarbayev University Graduate School of Business invites you to visit FREE seminar “Kaizen for Productivity” by Suzuki Hajime. Mr. Suzuki (also known as Dr. Practice) is the author of Practical Kaizen for Productivity Facilitators. This book is a sort of sequel to famous Kaizen: The Key To Japan’s Competitive Success by Masaaki Imai, who is considered to be Kaizen guru. Hajime Suzuki shares his methods and experience with participants on seminars and during consulting projects around the world.

Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) expert, professional engineer, Japan Productivity Center (JPC) counsellor, Asian Productivity Organization (APO) expert. Industrial engineer in leading Japanese companies, graduate engineer in productivity improvement in Japan. 1961, he graduated from Tokyo Institute of Technology, Japan. 1971, Master of Science, the University of Michigan, USA. 

Works as JICA expert since 1984. Expert in the Productivity Development Project in Singapore, Thailand and Costa Rica; in a textile project in Sri Lanka, in a project of Technology Center in Mexico, in other projects in Uzbekistan, Vietnam and other countries. Trained directors of Malaysian vocational collages on Kaizen. Trained Japanese and local companies in Thailand, Indonesia, Hungary, China, Hong Kong, Bangladesh, Iran, Malaysia, Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan. Worked as industrial engineer, senior manager in Fuji Iron & Steel Corp. and Nippon Steel, as well as technical advisor on production planning and control in other steel companies. 

Other experiences include:

In 2015-2018 the expert worked in Kaizen consulting projects in Kazakhstan enterprises, implemented jointly with the DAMU Foundation and with the support of KIDI JSC. Mr. Suzuki contributed to improving of performance of SK Stroiklass JSC, Saiman Corporation LLP, Banur-NS LLP, Bread factory Karavai LLP, etc. Mr. Suzuki holds 6 dan in Aikido. Several times he was invited to show his skills to the students of local aikido clubs. His motto is to think positively and never give up.
