«Назарбаев Университетінің Жоғары бизнес мектебінде біз армандардың құрылысшыларымыз.
Еліміз Қазақстанды аймақтың жетекші экономикаларының біріне және жаһандық экономиканың өңірлік қозғалтқышына айналдырудың батыл жолында. Біздің миссиямыз – экономикалық өсу мен инновацияға жетекшілік ететін бизнес көшбасшыларды, кәсіпкерлерді және көрегендерді дамыту.

Mission
In formulating its mission, NUGSB was inspired by the mission of Nazarbayev University: To be a model for higher education reform and modern research; to contribute to the establishment of Astana as an international knowledge, innovation, and medical hub; and to prepare students for a world of increased volatility, uncertainty, complexity,
and ambiguity. NUGSB supports NU’s mission in areas relevant to the school. The mission of the Nazarbayev University Graduate School of Business is to develop principled leaders and generate knowledge to transform business and society.
Vision
NUGSB aspires to be established as the world-class business school, and recognized through the quality of its education, the impact of its research, international orientation, and engagement with the business community. These ambitions will be achieved by delivering a full-fledged portfolio of world-class degree and non-degree programs in
Business and Management; and by creating and disseminating impactful knowledge and insights through business research. Our strategic partnership agreement with the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University and potential future partnerships will help us develop the capabilities necessary to achieve this vision.
Accrediation process
GSB is in the process of obtaining accreditation from the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB). AACSB provides internationally recognized, specialized accreditation for business programs. AACSB Accreditation is known worldwide, as the longest standing, most recognized form of specialized/professional accreditation an institution and its business programs can earn.
AACSB Process Milestones at the GSB:
· Eligibility Application submitted on March 9, 2018
· Revised and submitted Eligibility Application on Oct 3, 2018 with the response to the additional questions from IAC
· The AACSB International’s Initial Accreditation Committee (IAC) voted to accept the Eligibility Application on November 13, 2018
· NUGSB formally entered the AACSB Initial Accreditation Process on December 21, 2018.
· AACSB’s appointed Mentor visited GSB on August 31st – September 3rd, 2019.
Next milestone: submitting initial Self-Evaluation Report before the deadline set by AACSB in September 2020

The accreditation process has started!
Graduate School of Business is initiating eligibility application for obtaining accreditation from the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB). On December 13, 2017, members of the Nazarbayev University Academic Council endorsed the initiative.
AACSB provides internationally recognized, specialized accreditation for business programs. AACSB Accreditation is known worldwide, as the longest standing, most recognized form of specialized/professional accreditation an institution and its business programs can earn.
The best business schools in the world are accredited by AACSB. Only about 5 percent of the world’s university-level business programs have earned the accreditation. At the moment, no business school in the CIS has attained the accreditation.
Accreditation is an important signal of the quality of a university’s academic and research program, its faculty, its graduating students. AACSB makes certain that the program is teaching a complete and relevant set of business skills that align with the practical requirements of the current business environment. With this accreditation, students know that they are associating themselves with the highest-caliber business schools. Employers in turn can trust that graduates come from the most highly rated business schools.
That’s the big picture. Now are starting a meticulous, lengthy and demanding process. On the way, we will be reaching out to our alumni to obtain their feedback about how their study at GSB programs has impacted their careers. As the process starts in February, please be on the lookout for emails with news regarding accreditation and help us with your feedback!

Triple accreditation (or Triple Crown accreditation) is the accreditation awarded to business schools worldwide by the three largest and most influential business school accreditation associations:

AACSB makes certain that the program is teaching a complete and relevant set of business skills that align with the practical requirements of the current business environment. With this accreditation, students know that they are associating themselves with the highest-caliber business schools.
