PhD in Business Administration

PhD in Business Administration program is designed for students who aspire to become faculty members at leading academic institutions or conduct business research in relevant organizations. The PhD program provides a solid foundation in both the theoretical and empirical tools of their relevant research. By the completion of the PhD program, students will be capable of designing and conducting independent, innovative, original, and high-quality research related to a variety of business fields (e.g., Accounting, Business Economics, Finance, Management, Organizations, Strategy). The PhD program also provides a solid foundation for working in the industrial environment (e.g., multinational companies) or in the government.

PhD in Business Administration is a 4-year PhD program comprising compulsory coursework, research, examinations, and thesis writing. The program aligns with the structure of similar PhD programs in North America, and follows the Bologna process and the revised Graduate Programs Framework of Nazarbayev University.
