Anneli Richter
Senior Business Systems Analyst at Duke University (Former Associate Dean for Graduate Admissions).

Anneli is currently Senior Business Systems Analyst at Duke University. She holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from DePauw University and an MBA from Fuqua.

Before joining the Fuqua staff in 2005, Anneli spent more than 15 years in private industry and entrepreneurial ventures. In the last 12 years, she has served in various roles in admissions and operations at Fuqua. In her current position, she oversees an admissions team of more than 40 people who work to admit and enroll more than 1,000 students per year across Fuqua’s seven degree programs.

Jenifer Lewis
Dr. Jenifer L. Lewis is an Associate Professor and Vice Dean of academic Programs in the NU Graduate School of Business. She joined NUGSB in 2016. She first joined Nazarbayev University in 2011 in the first cohort of NU faculty members. Prior to joining GSB, she was a professor in and (Acting) Chair of the Department of Communication at NU in the School of Humanities and Social Sciences. Dr. Lewis earned her Ph.D. and M.A. in Communication Studies from The University of Kansas with emphases in Political Communication and Leadership. She teaches classes in Business Communication, Leadership, and facilitates the team building modules during new student orientation. Her current research examines issues of leadership in Kazakhstan and views related to gendered expectations of leaders. She is co-founder and co-Director of The Consortium and Gender Scholars-Kazakhstan, she established and leads the Women’s Leadership Development Program at NU, and is currently the director of the NU Women Lead Association.

Valerie has been at Duke’s Fuqua School of Business since 2005. Valerie managed Fuqua’s portfolio of non-degree executive education programs as well as Fuqua’s relationship with Nazarbayev University (NU) in Astana, Kazakhstan, which involves providing strategic advisory services to assist NU in developing a top tier business school in Central Asia and involves close coordination with faculty, staff and administration at both Fuqua and Duke University.
